Edna Vibbert

Edna Lee Vibbert 97 of Glasgow died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Barren County Health Care Facility. She was born in Metcalfe County, the daughter of the late Johnny and Mary Wheeler Strode. Mrs. Vibbert was a former assistant manager of the Dollar General Store in Glasgow. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda S. Kirk of Glasgow and Edna Mae Billingsley (George) of Bowling Green; 2 sisters Pat Behrens of Clarksville, TN and Bertha Stidham of Ypsilanti, MI; 6 grandchildren Michael McKinney, Douglas McKinney, Chris McKinney, Cynthia Hulsey, Barry Billingsley and Denise Russell and 16 great grandchildren. IN addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Denzil Vibbert and a son-in-law Charlie Kirk. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Randolph. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
