Edward Ausbon

Edward 'Ray' Ausbon, age 83 of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1932 in Leitchfield, KY the son of Eulas and Flora Edith Seaton-Ausbon. He was a Naval Veteran of the Korean Conflict, an Elder at the Leitchfield First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a member of the American Legion Post 81 and local VFW, and a member of the Cattleman's Association. He is survived by his wife, Marian Farris Ausbon of Leitchfield, three daughters, Sandra Mudge (Hugh), Beverly Embry (Barry), & Patti Embry (Larry) all of Leitchfield, six grandchildren, James & Abby Mudge, Caitlyn Howell (Alex), Ross, Sam, & Josh Embry, and one sister, Norma Jean Anderson of Cincinnati, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday (March 13, 2016) at the Leitchfield First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Jim Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m., Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield.
