Edward Beckham

Edward V. Beckham 59 of Smiths Grove, KY died Friday August 29, 2008 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green after a short illness. The Barren County native was the son of the late Bill and Rose Beckham. He was employed by the Barren County Board of Education as the custodian at Red Cross Elementary School, a farmer and retired from Holley Carburetor. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife Peggy Jones Beckham; 2 sons Chris (Melissa) Beckham and Billy (Darla) Beckham all of Smiths Grove; 5 grandchildren Kayla, Nathan, Madison, Alex and Carson Beckham; 2 brothers Richard Beckham and friend Margie of Bowling Green and Roger (Connie) Beckham of Bowling Green and 2 sisters Susan (Norman) Mattingly of Oakland and Mary Jo (Randy) Anderson of Auburn. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday Sept. 1, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:30pm Saturday at the funeral home.
