Edward Harris

Edward Smith Harris 99 of Glasgow, KY died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton. Born in Burkesville, KY he was the son of the late John and Florence Smith Harris and wife of the late Christine Abney Harris. Mr. Harris was a member of the Glasgow Wesleyan Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a self-employed laborer and farmer in Barren County. Survivors include 3 grandchildren Tina Gray (Greg) of Greensburg, KY, James Runyon (Sandy) of Glasgow and Jessie Runyon (Lori) of Lafayette, TN; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann Runyon, 1 sister and 4 brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by D.A.V. Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Monday and on Tuesday until time for the service.
