Eliza Brown

Eliza "Joyce" Brown, 89, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at her son's residence. She was born May 4, 1933, at her home in Etoile, Kentucky to the late James Howard Bailey and Lois Ellen Steenbergen Bailey. Joyce was a bank teller for 35 years at Kentucky Banking Center and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Michael Brown (Karen) of Summerville, South Carolina, Patricia Bush (Doug) of Glasgow, Leslie Witt (Jim) of Hudson, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brian Brown (Erica), Deana Blanding (McFaddin), Kara Brown, Kellie Pinkel (Chris), Becky Witt, Cody Brown (Bobby); ten great grandchildren; brother, James W. Bailey (Karen); sister, Mary Nell Lewis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Allen Brown one granddaughter, Ginger Lyn Beckers; brother-in-law, Joe Brown; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Quentin Billingsley; brother and sister-in-law, James and Maxie Brown; and brother-in-law, Preston Lewis. The funeral service for Mrs. Brown will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 5th at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the church. A. F.
