Elizabeth Moss

Elizabeth Coomer Moss (93) of Glasgow passed from this earth into the last, unending chapter of her life on February 9, 2011. She was the third daughter and sixth child of ten children born to Clem Preston and Bertha Hamilton Coomer. She attended school and spent her formative years in the Basil Community of Adair County where she met and married her husband, William Felix Moss, in the early 1930s. This devoted couple lived in Adair County and Menard County, Illinois before settling in east Barren County in 1950 as they nurtured their children through the physical, spiritual, social and educational demands of life during the Depression, recessions, wars and other challenges.
