Elizabeth Piercy

Nell Shaw Piercy 90 of Glasgow died Monday, April 22, 2013 at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late T.R. and Kate Dugard Groce. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, William A. Shaw and Sidney E. Piercy. Mrs. Piercy was a former employee of NHC Healthcare and was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. She is survived by her son Billy Joe Shaw and wife Nancy of Glasgow; a grandson Clint Shaw and wife Kristie of Knoxville, TN; 2 great-grandchildren Conley and Kailey Shaw; a brother Seth Thomas Groce and wife Eugenia of Glasgow and several nieces, nephews and friends. The family has chosen cremation and no services at this time. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
