Ella Byrd Turner

Ella Byrd Turner, age 90, of Glasgow, died Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Nobob, KY, on September 17, 1932, to the late Rex Shipley and the late Sofia (Atkins) Shipley. She is survived by one son, Edward Turner (Sharon); seven grandchildren, Dawayne Turner (Robin), Daniel Turner (Amy), Tonya Adams (Gavin), Derrick Turner (Kera), Anthony Turner, Avery Turner, and Allie Turner; 12 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Rexanna Turner and Anita Turner; one brother, Don Shipley. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mrs. Turner and his family.
