Ella Jones

Ella Mae Jones, 82 of 3229 Daviess Street died on December 20, 2004 at Leisure Years Nursing Home. She was born in Daviess County, Ky. to the late Otis Lee Swain and Ollie Ione Mason Swain. Was retired from General Electric and was a member of Christian Faith. Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Jones, grandson, Denny Lashbrook, sisters, Mary Oma Daughtry, Elizabeth Swain, Katherine Stutte, Ellen Burden, brothers, Estil Swain and Marshall Swain. Surviving are two son, Robert FranklinBobbyMattingly and his wife Marie of Owensboro, Ky., step-son, James W. Jones, Jr. of Sacramento, Ky., daughter, Shirley McDonald and her husband Jim of Victorville, California, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, sisters, Martha Tocco of Largo, Florida, Virginia Sunn of Crete, Illinois, Doris Kissel and her husband Roscoe of Evansville, Indiana, Helen Newton and her husband Morris of Owensboro, Ky., Jean Gregory and her husband Bill of Port Charlotte, Florida. Services are at l0:00am. Monday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel, visistation from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Sunday and 8:00 to 10:00am. Monday. Burial will be in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Dennis McFadden will be officiating.
