Elmer Davis

Rev. Elmer Davis 93 of Tompkinsville died Friday morning at the Monroe Health and Rehab Facility. He was the son of the late Charlie and Myrtie Sabbens Davis and husband of the late Ermie Elva Vance Davis. He was a former employee of the Preston-Ropp Chevrolet in Glasgow and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Monroe Co. He is survived by a daughter Barbara (Wayne) Brown of Tompkinsvile; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 brother Roy Davis of Glasgow. Two sisters and a grandson preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon on Saturday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow.
