Elmer Quigley

Kenneth Quigley 85 of Glasgow, KY died Thursday July 1, 2004 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Mr. Quigley was born in Guthrie, KY the son of the late Elmer Spencer Quigley and Elizabeth 'Dalie' Hunt Quigley. Kenneth was retired from the Western KY Gas Company after 35 years with the company. He became the Manager of the local office in 1967 and served as manager until his retirement at age 65. He had attended the First United Methodist Church for many years but was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Eighty Eight, KY. Mr. Quigley was a member of the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce and served two terms as president. He was also a member of the Glasgow Lions Club the Woodmen of the World and enjoyed traveling. He is survived by his wife Martha Wood Quigley; 2 daughters Donna Lacy and husband Bill of Louisville, Dorothy 'Dottie' Etienne and husband Leo of Camillus, NY; 1 son Freddie Quigley and wife Angelica of Louisville; 6 grandchildren Tonya and Todd Lacy, Chad and Lori Etienne and Jason and Matthew Quigley; 2 great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Taylor Lacy; and 1 sister Ruby Quigley Bybee of Glasgow. A brother James Lendell Quigley preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday July 4, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 3pm until 8pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
