Elsie Renfro

Elsie Davis Renfro 95 of Glasgow died Sunday December 30, 2007 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was preceded in death by husbands Winn Davis and Charles T. Renfro. Elsie was the owner and operator of Elsie's Beauty Shop in Glasgow for many years and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Walter Winn Davis and wife Kaye of Glasgow; her daughter Mary Davis Cohron and husband Dr. Jerry Cohron of Bowling Green and was preceded in death by a daughter Jackie Caldwell whose husband Bill Caldwell of Nashville Survives. She is also survived by grandchildren; Winn Davis, Case Davis, Elaine Davis Bernius, Chuck Davis, Chris Cohron, Sarah Dabney Cohron Sullivan, Anne Winn Caldwell Cave, Mary Margaret Caldwell Halverson and Cathy Caldwell Hanks and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Tuesday January 1, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm and Tuesday from 11:00am until time of service. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Glasgow Christian Academy, 600 Old Calvary Dr., Glasgow, KY 42141; the Boys and Girls Club of Glasgow or your favorite Charity.
