Eltie Decker

​Eltie Lee Decker, age 94 of Clarkson, passed away, Sunday, January 15th 2017 at her residence. She was born December 24th 1922 in Edmonson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Herbert Garner & Minnie Sowders-Hayes. ​She is survived by three children, Dean VanMeter, Jean Whobrey, & Ann Nelson, four granddaughters, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three half-sisters, Pearlie Mae York, Alice & Mary Garner, and one half-brother, Raymond Garner. ​Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Decker, two sons, Milburn & Charles Ray Decker, two grandsons, Dwayne & Richie Decker, two brothers, and several half-brothers & half-sisters.
