Elvene Atwell

Elvene Scott Atwell, 91, of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Diversicare Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born December 22, 1926 in Neelyville, MO, the daughter of the late Bert Elihu Scott and Flora Beulah Dudley Scott. Her husband was the late Homer Atwell. She was one of 13 children and a twin. She spent her career in the retail industry and for many years was a department manager for Venture Stores. She loved the Lord and served in the music and various other ministries of several churches throughout her life. At her passing she was a member of Glasgow Baptist Church. Genevieve, MO Cherelyn Clark of Vacaville, CA Debra Kantosky (Bill): Lucas, KY Karla Lawson (Mike) of Houston, TX Timothy Atwell of Acworth GA Kimberly Burke (Chuck) of Vacaville, CA 17 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother Donald Ray Scott and 2 Sisters Iris Campbell and Fuchia Scott Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of the Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia, AL. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.
