Elwood Decker

Elwood Decker, age 73 of Leitchfield, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 27th 1941 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the son of Shelt & Amie Decker. He was a farmer & millwright and a member of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife, Clara Jean Pruiett Decker of Leitchfield, four children, Marilyn Stone (Alton) of Clarkson, Dewayne Decker (Cindy) of Clarkson, Danny Decker (Carol) of Caneyville, & Timmie Decker (Barb) of Leitchfield, one brother, Floyd Decker (Maggie) of Leitchfield, three sisters, Virginia Davis of Leitchfield, Doris Witten (Conda) of Clarkson, & Brenda Woods of Bee Spring, ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Alene Loflin, and two brothers, Harlan & Clinton Decker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday (June 17, 2014) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Jerry Decker officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 3:00 p.m., Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
