Elwood Whitehouse

Elwood Whitehouse Jr. 58 of Glasgow died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at his home. Born in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late Elwood and Mable Montgomery Whitehouse. He was a former employee of Caswell-Dunes Construction Co. in North Carolina and was an ordained minister and Sunday school teacher at the Upper Room Harvest Church in Barren County. Survivors include his wife Angela Sue Groce Whitehouse; 3 children Charron Whitehouse, Nathaniel (Amandia) Whitehouse and Joshua (Colleen) Whitehouse all of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Hanna and Cara Whitehouse; 2 brothers Mitchell (Debbie) Whitehouse of Louisville and Gary (Jane) Whitehouse of Oklahoma and 1 sister Karen Noel (Charles) of Louisville. He was preceded in death by a sister Laurie Smith. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 2, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Friday
