Emily Ann Francis 65 of Glasgow died Sunday April 11, 2010 at Glasgow Health and Rehab. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Wannar S. and Clara Mosby Francis. Miss Francis was retired from the Mallory Corp. and more recently was employed by the Gingerbread House. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir president. She was a Liberty District Usher and a chairman of the Ralph Bunch Foundation. Survivors include 1 sister Delois Williams of Glasgow; 3 brothers Joe R Francis (Pearlean) of Augusta, GA, Jerry Francis (Jennie) of Glasgow and Rev. Harry Francis (Elaine) of Olive Branch, MS; a sister-in-law Ermon Daugherty of Louisville; 11 nieces and nephews, Amelia Francis Johnson (Michael), Bernard Francis (Doris), Dinah Francis and LaKresia Wingo (Jesse) of Glasgow, Monique McMillan of Olive Branch, MS, Dianne Francis of Augusta, GA, Tyrone Francis (Nicole) of Americus, GA, Rev. Gregory Daugherty (Mary), Michael Daugherty (Barbara), Kay Daugherty and Jay Daugherty all of Louisville; 16 great nieces and nephews and 3 aunts, Blanche Mosby, Kate Mosby and Mairian Mosby along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Friday at the church from 10:00am until time for the service. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
