Emma Holmes

Emma Rachel Holmes 86 of Campbellsville died Friday February 18, 2011 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Henry Ellis and Pauline (Story) Ellis. Mrs. Holmes was a retired machine operator for Alcoa Aluminum Company in Louisville and a member of New Salem Methodist Church. Survivors include 1 son Mike (Bobbie Kaye) Holmes of Campbellsville; 1 sister Eileen Ritter of Smith Grove; 5 grandchildren Todd Holmes of Glasgow, Timmy Holmes of Louisville, KY, Heather (Chris) Tucker of Winchester, KY, Tyler Martin and Tiffany Martin of Lexington, KY; 3 great grandchildren Ben & Ray Holmes of Louisville, KY and Lilly Tucker of Winchester, KY; 1 daughter -in- law Wanda Holmes of Glasgow; 1 niece Linda (Larry) Meador of Oakland, KY; great nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Lee Holmes and 1 son Buel Holmes. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday February 21, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Sunday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
