Emma Pitzl

Emma L. Pitzl, 91, of Horse Branch passed away Monday, July 22nd, 2013 at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, KY. She was born on December 24th, 1921 in Yeaman, KY, the daughter of the late Morton and Verble (Slaughter) Decker. She was a cashier and a loving wife of the late Joseph Pitzl. She is survived by her two children, Wesley Decker of Horse Branch and Frieda Bonomini of South Dakota; her sister Ruby Hart of Paducah; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pitzl. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Vernon Veteto will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunny Side Cemetery in Beaver Dam.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday after 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
