Enimuse Eagle Casteel 87 of Glasgow died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Born in Monroe County he was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Casteel and Maggie Perdue Casteel. Mr. Casteel was a retired heavy equipment operator for the state of Kentucky and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a member and a former elder of Poplar Log Church of Christ. He is survived by 9 children, James Casteel (Brenda) of Glasgow, Jerry Casteel (Sandra) of Tompkinsville, Danny Casteel (Debbie), Janie Jessie (Felix), David Casteel (Ara), Teddy Casteel (Jeanie), Eddie Casteel (Pauletta), Randy Casteel (Laura) and Terry Casteel (Kimberly) all of Glasgow; 25 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Vibbert Casteel, a daughter Sheila Simpson, two brothers Arvin and Elvin Casteel, a sister Myrtie Cloyd and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11am Friday, February 13th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Poplar Log Cemetery with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 2pm Thursday.
