Ernest Elkins, 65, of Horse Branch, KY, passed away Thursday, August 01, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April, 11, 1948 in Charleston, WV, the son of Carlos and Ruby Igo Elkins. He was a concrete finisher. He is survived by his wife Mary Odom Elkins; his sons: Billy and Ernie (Michelle) Elkins; his mother Ruby Elkins; his two brothers: Robert and Danny Elkins; his two sisters: Eva Driggers and Becky Elkins.Also surviving are his six grandchildren.Other than his father, he is preceded in death by his several brothers and sisters. Cremation was chosen with no services to follow.
