Ernestine Lewis

Ernestine R. Lewis 99 of Glasgow died Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at Barren County Health Care in Glasgow. She was born in Enid, OK the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Della Maude Bale Smith. Ernestine was also preceded in death by her husband Earl Spencer Lewis. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Glasgow. She is survived by her three children Karen Benedict Jones and husband Jimmy of Glasgow, Jane Rutledge and husband C.E. of Apex, NC and Steve Lewis and wife Laura of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Cremation was chosen and there will be visitation for friends and family at the First Christian Church Monday, April 7th from 11am until 1pm. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to the First Christian Church, 1100 N. Race St., Glasgow, KY 42141 or another charity of choice.
