Ersie Lykens

Ersie Wyatt Lykens 82 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Annie Pickett Wyatt and wife of the late Louie Lykens. Mrs. Lykens was a former employee of Kentucky Pants Company and the lunchroom at Liberty St. and South Green Schools. She was also active with the Senior Citizens of Barren County. Survivors include a son Bobby Lykens (Juanita) of Park City, KY; 2 daughters Sandra Travis (Bobby) of Glasgow and Patsy Asbill (Capers) of Ridge Spring, SC; 8 grandchildren Sarah Shirley (Brian), Amanda Thompson (Jason), Eric Johnson (Kim), Casey Jones (Chad), Shannon Rankin, Becky Asbill, Michael Kennedy and Patrick Arnold (Becky); 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; 3 sisters Dee Hofer and Willie Dean Jones of Glasgow and Brenda Waller of Sheperdsville and 2 brothers Jim Bob Wyatt of Mt. Washington and Depp Wyatt of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
