E.M. 'Dick' Mutter 88 of Glasgow died Monday July 28, 2008 at his home. Born in Barren County the son of the late Joe Nuchols Mutter and Susan Estella Moore and the husband of the late Geraldine Jackson Mutter. Mr. Mutter was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the A Company 335th Engineer Battalion. He was a lifetime farmer and a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 son Charles Mutter (Sherrilyn) of Austin; 1 daughter Brenda Leftwich (Bill) of Glasgow; 3 grandsons Craig Mutter (Brandie) of Glasgow, Adam Leftwich (Beth) of Bowling Green and Aaron Leftwich of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Carrie Alexander (Tim) of Scottsville and Jaime Riley (Nick) of Glasgow; 4 great grandchildren Jackson & Grant Mutter and Christopher & Jenna Alexander;1 sister Laverne Mutter of Glasgow and 1 brother Robert Mutter(Martha)of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 sister Ruth Young and 2 brothers Raymond & Delton Mutter. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday July 31 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home.
