Eugenia Byrd

Eugenia "Park" Byrd 87 of Glasgow died Monday, May 9, 2016 at her daughter's home near Temple Hill. She was born in Barren County a daughter of the late Eugene "Genie" Morgan and Alice Pedigo Morgan. Her husband was the late Eldon Richard Byrd. She was a former employee of Handmacher in Glasgow and attended Coral Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Loretta Owens (John) of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Tyra Murray (Jason) of Glasgow and Derrin Whitehead of Bowling Green; 3 step grandchildren Brenda Owens of St. Ann, MO, Tricia Scherr (Billy) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Melissa Owens of St. Louis, MO; a step grandson-in-law Doug Blust of Union, MO; 2 great grandchildren Spencer York and Cameron Murray of Glasgow; 7 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great-grandchildren; 5 sisters Nora Pursley of Glasgow, Minnie Garrison (Ray) of Scottsville, Margaret Mortimer, Wanda Perkins (Jimmy) and Judy Turner all of Glasgow; 5 brothers Roddie Morgan (Joyce) of Glasgow, Gene Morgan (Nancy) of Columbia Station, OH, Terry Morgan of Glasgow, Roger Morgan (Carrie) of Smiths Grove and Ronnie Morgan (Ronetta) of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Marie Morgan of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Derek Whitehead; step-granddaughter Sue Blust and two brothers Robert and Jessie Thomas Morgan. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Wednesday.
