Eva Rose Bishop Deckard

Eva Rose (Bishop) Deckard,87, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was born December 31, 1937, in Glasgow to the late James Revil (J.R.) and the late Elizabeth (Reeves) Bishop. She was a member of Canaanland Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Karen) and Billy (Cindy) both of Glasgow; two grandsons, Jamie (Sonya) and Bo (Arielle) both of Glasgow; two granddaughters, Paula Winchell (Joey) and Heather Hatcher both of Glasgow; six great grandchildren, Morgan, Jackson, Brock, Caleb, Gunner, and Bryson; and one great-great granddaughter Olivia; sisters, Betty Nanny (James) of Indianapolis, Ann Likens (John) of Glasgow; sisters in law, Patricia Bishop and Carolyn Bishop of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Little Miss.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; son, James Micheal (Tottie); brothers, James Elmer, Robert "Bobby" Eugene (Lorraine), Fredrick Joseph (Joe), James Leason (John); and sisters Ruby Lucille Smith, Edna Ruth Black, and Rachel Louise Turlin.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Deckard will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 8:00 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
