Eva Scott

Eva Doris Davis Scott 71 of Glasgow died Monday February 2, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Glasgow the daughter of the late Walter and Phoebe Coleman Davis. Her husband was the late Arnold Allen Scott. Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Independent Baptist Church. She is survived by a son Michael Allen Scott (Edie) of Indianapolis, IN; 2 daughters Julie Hatfield of Glasgow and Vickie Barnett (Harlan) of Freedom, IN; 6 grandchildren Corrie Leeann Barnett, Cole Mitchell Barnett, Michael Allen Scott Jr., William Arnold Scott, Christopher Alexander Blakley and Katherine Anne Blakley; 3 sisters Barbara Sue Simmons, Ruth Ann Spann and Bessie Chapman all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters Jean Frazier, Mildred Jones, Marion Goode and Dorothy Houchens and three brothers Joe, Warren and Roscoe Davis. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday February 5, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
