Evelyn Franklin

Evelyn Hall Franklin 92 of Glasgow died Friday November 25, 2011 at th NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Ohio the daughter of the late Earnest and Alma (Clark) Hall. She worked at T.J. Samson for 14 years and she retired from Kentucky Pants Factory. Mrs. Franklin was a Christian and was a faithful member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Glasgow and worked in the church until she got sick. Survivors include a son Wendell Franklin and wife Vivian of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren Regina Wood (Rev. Thomas - Deceased), Alma Glover (Richard), Ann Duke (Rev. Eric), Rose Franklin, Carol Franklin, Kenny Franklin, Danielle Bradley (Jimmy), Ernest Franklin and Steve O. Franklin (Kathy) all of Glasgow. John Franklin (Lynn) and Danny Franklin both of Bowling Green. Terry Franklin (Sara) of Indianapolis, IN and Garrnett Whitlow (Teresa) of Park City and 1 step grandson Tyler Maxey; 37 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Her special room mate Vetra Wilson also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Garfield Franklin, a daughter Mary Jane Franklin and a granddaughter Laura Beason. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Glasgow with burial in the Barlow Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Hopewell Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
