Evelyn Mutter

Evelyn Walden Mutter 79 of Glasgow, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Harlan and Birdie Harris Walden. Her husband was the late Joe Lloyd Mutter. Mrs. Mutter was the owner and operator of the former Kentucky Restaurant on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Mercer and her husband David of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren, Hilary deHaas and Joe Taylor Mercer both of Glasgow, Chris Watson of Bardstown, Amy Beckwith of South Carolina, Carrie Kemp of Louisville, Rebecca Jackson of Bowling Green, Susan Watson of Indiana and Sara Muncy of Louisville; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister Dorothy Moore of Glasgow. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Charles Watson and two brothers, Roger and David Walden. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
