Ewing "Doc" Kingrey

Ewing Palmore 'Doc' Kingrey 71 of Glasgow died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Radford & Frances Hood Kingrey and husband of the late Barbara Combs Kingrey. Mr. Kingrey was a member of the Dover Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include 2 brothers Paris Kingrey (Betty) of Glasgow and Curtis Kingrey (Dorothy) of Louisville; a companion Lorraine Kingrey of Glasgow; a granddaughter Whitney Reid of Glasgow; a great grandson A. J. Reid of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter Penny McCluskey; a great grandchild Kaitlin Reid; brothers, Herman, Millard, Thurman, Floyd and James Hughes Kingrey; Sisters, Daisy Eubank, Alene Key, and Verneal Spradlin. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
