Ewing Thomas 'Tommy' Humphrey 78 of Glasgow died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County, a son of the late Porter Ewing and Ovie Ellen Key Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey was an employee and an assistant manager at J. J. Newberry in Glasgow for 36 years. He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Glasgow. Survivors include his wife Caroll Humphrey; 4 daughters Shelia Foster and husband David of Glasgow, Sharon Grider of Hardyville, Sondra Humphrey of Glasgow and Kathy DeWeese and husband Mike of Edmonton; 1 step-daughter Trudy Wyant and husband Charles of El Paso, TX; a step-granddaughter Victoria Walton of Glasgow; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister Dorothy Jean Harvey and husband Joe Donald of Virginia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Bragg, a brother Kenneth 'Red' Humphrey and a step-son Wesley Glaspy. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Monday.
