Fannie Matthews

Fannie James Matthews 89 of Somerset and formally of Glasgow, died Friday June 13, 2008 at the Somerset Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Austin Kentucky the daughter of the late Jeston Shaw and Dolly Shaw and wife of the late Bennie Matthews. Mrs. Matthews was a retired employee of Mallory's Capacitor of Glasgow and member of Glasgow Wesleyan Church. Survivors include 2 sons Joe (Pat) McKinney of Glasgow and D.T. (Monica) Froedge of Glasgow; 1 daughter Debbie (David) Sparks of Somerset; 3 grandchildren Joey McKinney, Candice (Rodney) Baugh and Justin Sparks; 4 stepchildren Owen Matthews of IN, Billie Matthews of TX, Helen Wing of IN and Shirley Lytle of NC. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a sister Ruby Harrison. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday June 16, 2008 at the A.F.Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am Monday until time for services.
