Floyd Bryant Chapman Jr.

Floyd Bryant Chapman Jr., 79, of Wisdom, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his residence. He was born, October 2, 1945, to the late Floyd “Toad” Bryant Chapman and the late Zelma Bell (Bunch) Chapman. He loved spending his time fishing, hunting, operating machinery, and spending time with his great grandchildren. Floyd was a member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church.

He is survived by his sons, Mike Chapman (Kim) of Glasgow and Kenneth Todd Chapman of Wisdom; grandchildren, Megan Dickison (Matt) and Cody Chapman; step grandchildren, Dalton Furlong, Breanna Dyer, and Shelby Devers; great grandchildren, Kole Bryant Dickison and Kurt Bradley Dickison; nieces, Patricia Edwards (Ricky) and Wanda Jean Hurt (Tim); special friends, LJ Harper (Kim) and Ricky Mosby (Kim); and brother-in-law, Kenny Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sue Ann Chapman; his brother, Clifton Chapman (Lois) and Jack Chapman (Bessie); sister, Frances Thomas (Boone); father-in-law, Kenneth D. Thomas; Mother-in-law, Nora May Thomas; late wife’s grandparents, Henry and Nannie Bennett; nephew, Josh Thomas.

Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Floyd Bryant Chapman Jr. to A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Wisdom Faith Community Church with burial in the Wisdom Faith Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Thursday morning from 8:00 AM until time for the service at the church.
