Floyd Wood

Floyd Denzil Wood 76 of Glasgow went home to be with the Lord on the morning of April 1, 2009. He was born September 10, 1932 in Barren County son of the late Luther & Ora Hume Wood. Mr. Wood was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving family, Gena Couch; a son Daryl Wood & wife Judy of Glasgow; a daughter Debra Simmons & husband Jeff of Glasgow; two brothers Archie Wood of California and Charles Wood & wife Patsy of Glasgow; three sisters Eula Bush of Glasgow, Jewell Austin & husband Cleve of Fountain Run, KY and Dorothy Combs of Glasgow; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a grandson Chris Simmons and two brothers Willard & Carlos Wood. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, April 3, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
