Frances Hall

Frances Mae Hall, 78, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 10th, 1935 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late McKinley and Irene (Day) Smith. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also a member of the Free Zion General Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Harold Hall of Caneyville; one daughter, Allison Hall Helm (Chris) of Leitchfield; two sons, James Hall and Donnie Hall (Anna) both of Caneyville; eighteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; one sister, Betty Crowe of New York and one brother, Chesteen Smith of Virginia. Other than her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy J. Hayse; her sister, Christeen Smith and her brother, Jr. Smith. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Glendon Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the McGrady Creek Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Saturday after 12 Noon and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
