Frances Woosley

Frances Jane (Hudson) Woosley, 70, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born on Tuesday, February 18th, 1947 in Scottsburg, IN, the daughter of the late JD and Elizabeth Berndean (Blair) Hudson. Frances was a member of the Caneyville Christian Church. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. She also loved animals. Frances is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Woosley; one grandson, JD Holtzclaw of Caneyville; her special niece, Kathey Martin (Ray) also of Caneyville; one special adopted daughter, Cara (Brooks) Atwood (Jeremy) of Glasgow; one special cousin, Jean Robinson of Danville; one aunt, Corlene Smith of Arkansas and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Dean Holtzclaw. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 28th at 2:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Saturday after 4:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am until time of service.
