Frank Furlong

Frank W. Furlong, Jr. 83 of Park City, KY died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Frank W. Furlong, Sr. and Pauline Bowles Furlong. Mr. Furlong was a member of the Old Zion United Methodist Church and a self-employed Plumber & Electrician. Survivors include his wife Loretta Britt Furlong; a son Douglas Furlong and wife Pauletta of Park City; 4 grandchildren Brad Furlong and wife Kellie, Kim Gibson and husband Keith, and Stephanie Payne and husband Kevin all of Glasgow, and Jason Bowman and wife Sarah of Virginia Beach, VA; 5 great-grandchildren Austin and Cameron Furlong, Kaleigh Gibson, Victor Payne and Abagail Bowman; a son-in-law Howard Bowman, Jr. of Park City; a sister-in-law Mary Perkins of Glasgow, a half brother Johnny Steffey of Glasgow, several nieces and nephews, and his caregivers Janet Dobson, Jeremy Peden, Micah Peden, Sharon Copas and Vickie Walden. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Bowman, a brother Marvin Furlong and 2 sisters Mildred Perkins and Dorothy Obannon. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, May 10, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
