Frankie "Buck" Smith

Frankie Duane Buck Smith 73 of Glasgow died Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisville. He was born in Wisconsin the son of the late Kenneth and Florence B. Smith. Buck was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired over-the-road truck driver. Since his retirement he has been a security officer for Wal-Mart and was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Martha Sue; 3 step-children Steven Michael Schwartz of Rockford, IL, Deborah Marie Sillanpaa of Rockton, IL and Wade Owen Schwartz of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren and 4 sisters Alice Boldon of Wonewoc, WI, Juanita Thorson of De Forest, WI, Peggy Eggen of Janesville WI and Vickie Jo Barlass of Reedsburg, WI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Beulah Jeffries and Lois Speck. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday.
