Franklin Fields

Franklin Lee Fields 62, of Glasgow, died Saturday April 2, 2016 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. He was born in Metcalfe County, the son of the late Lonnie Lee Fields and Alice Pearl Coomer Fields. Mr. Fields worked as an industrial maintenance technician at several factories in the Glasgow area to include Dana Corp. and R.R. Donnelley. He attended Coral Hill Church of God. Survivors include 2 daughters, Crystal Hinton (Jimmy) of Park City and Angela Fields of Glasgow; 2 sons Lonnie Fields and Gregory Fields both of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Cody Blakley, Makayla Pierce, Raven Ennis, Carly Hinton and Logan Hinton; 2 brothers Paul Fields and William Fields of Glasgow; 4 sisters Becky Poindexter (Doug) of Glasgow, Teresa Beavers, Juanita Abernathy (Jack) and Donita Hoffman all of Columbus, IN; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Steve Fields. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday April 5, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday at the funeral home.
