Fred Arthur Sass

Fred Arthur Sass 83 of Glasgow died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Fred and Grace Peters Sass. Mr. Sass was retired from R R Donnelly & Sons Company; a Korean War Veteran serving in the U. S. Navy; a foster grandparent of Glasgow and a member of the Senior Citizen Center. Survivors include his wife Shirley Schumacher Sass of Glasgow; a son David Sass and wife Ruth of Covington, KY; a daughter Mary Christensen and husband John of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Lucas Christensen and Teriann Dilley; 2 step grandchildren Sherrie Urban and Richard Chatfield; 4 great grandchildren Killian Dilley, Lennon Dilley, Raven Thomas-Dilley and Liam Christensen; 2 sisters Grace Bauschke of WI and Janice Downey of IL; 2 brothers Donald Sass and Roger Sass or WI. Private graveside services will be held and a memorial service will be held at a later date. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
