Fred Brummett

Fred J. Brummett, 82 of Glasgow died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Cumberland County the son of the late Gilliam Brummett and Tilda (Pelston) Brummett. Mr. Brummett was a retired Carpenter and worked for Garrett Construction in Glasgow. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Brown (Mark) of Glasgow, KY; 1 son Jerry Brummett of Glasgow, KY; 1 granddaughter Hannah Brown of Glasgow, KY; 2 brothers Robert Brummett of Burkesville, KY and William Brummett (Merrill) of Westmoreland, TN; 1 sister Elizabeth Whitlow of Burkesville, KY. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Francis Denny. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday May 10, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00pm till 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
