Fred Reneau

Fred W. Reneau, age 75, of Glasgow, died February 19, 2023. He was born in Glasgow, KY on November 14, 1947, to the late Stanley Reneau and the late Edna Bailey Reneau. He was a professor at Southern Illinois for 30 years until retirement, then spent his retirement years as a Cattle Farmer. Fred was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ. Mr. Reneau is survived by his wife, Deborah Reneau; sons, Jason Reneau (Jane) and Jonathan Reneau (Erin Sparks); daughter, Julie Miller (Jeff); grandchildren, Eloise Reneau, Matthew Reneau, Evelyn Miller, Celeste Miller, David Miller, Jefferson "Campbell" Miller, Quintus Miller; brother, Larry Reneau; and a special nephew, Robin Reneau. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Reneau; and a special niece, Jennifer Cardwell. His family has honored his wishes for cremation. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 23rd at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided at the funeral home by DAV Chapter #20. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to South Green Street Church of Christ Missions Program. A.F.
