Fred Syree

Fred Louis Syree 73 of Glasgow died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Cal Turner Specialty Care in Scottsville. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Earl and Lorenia Hale Syree and the husband of the late Lucy Pitcock Syree. Mr. Syree was owner and operator of a Furniture Store in Glasgow. Survivors include his daughter Penny Woods and husband Jamie of Georgetown, KY: 2 grandchildren Kelsey and Malia Woods of Georgetown: his companion Vickie Jackson of Glasgow and several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home and on Wednesday morning until time for service.
