Fred Walden

Fred Bedford Walden 87 of Glasgow died Friday, August 16, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Marvin and Martha Sprowls Walden and husband of the late Juanita Ballard Walden. He was also preceded in death by a son Jerry Porter Walden and a daughter Shirley Walden Brayden. Mr. Walden was a farmer and attended Bethel Independent Baptist Church. He is survived by 1 son Joe David Walden of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Martha Neal and husband Eli, Loretta Harper, Kathy Holley and husband Harry, Barbara Stilts, Anthony Walden and wife Melisa and Eric Wells, 14 great-grandchildren and special great-grandson Derek Stilts, 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother Carl Walden of Glasgow and 2 sisters Mamie Walden Bartley and Eurie Gooden both of Glasgow and several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, August 20th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walden Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Monday.
