Freddie Eugene Belcher 58 of Glasgow died Friday, May 4, 2012 as a result of an auto accident in Barren County. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late William Eugene Belcher and Mary Rose Mesker Belcher of Glasgow who survives. Freddie was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and was an employee of R. R. Donnelley in Glasgow. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Betty Rich Belcher; 2 daughters Gloria Smith (Kevin) of Glasgow and Sandra Belcher and significant other Mike Mosley of Bakersfield, CA; a step-son Allan Hagan (Nita) of Glasgow; 2 sisters Kim Belcher and Patricia Morgan of Glasgow; an honorary brother Larry Vibbert; 2 grandchildren Mason and Trace Smith of Glasgow; a step-granddaughter Ashley Hagan and several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. He was also preceded in death by a grandson Cornelius Wheeler, III. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday.
