Paul Kidd 83 of Glasgow died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Barbourville, KY the son of the late Robert C. and Ethel Moore Kidd. Mr. Kidd had owned and operated Kidd Brothers Grocery, Kidd Photography Studio and was employed at Jones Auto Sales while living in Barbourville. He was an insurance salesman and had retired from Walmart after 15 years of service. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow, was a Kentucky Colonel and a U. S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife Nell Coffey Kidd; 2 sons Robert Kidd (Vivian) of Glasgow and Tom Kidd (John Lightfoot) of Columbia, TN; 1 daughter Patti Daniels (Randy) of Fountain Run; 5 grandchildren Benjamin Kidd (Tiffany), Jacob, Isaac and Olivia Kidd all of Glasgow and Missy Lynn Perkins (Jeff) of Frankfort; 3 great grandchildren Gabrielle Kidd, Declan Kidd and Maddox Perkins; 1 brother Eugene Kidd of Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Katherine Barger Kidd, a son Richard Kidd, 2 daughters Karen Kaye Kidd and Mary Kaye Kidd, and a brother Dr. Royce (Bobbie) Kidd. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 29th at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 2pm Friday at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Saturday at the Immanuel Baptist Church from 1pm until time for the service.
