Garnet Allen

Garnet Lee Allen, 87, of Park City, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born in Merry Oaks, KY the son of the late Durward Lee Allen and Ruth Cowles Allen. He worked for over 21 years at Holly Carburetor in Bowling Green, KY. He was a lifetime farmer and drove a school bus for the Barren County School System for 10 years and was a member of Merry Oaks Methodist Church. Survivors include 4 sons, Gary Allen (Wilma) of Smith Grove, J.D. Allen (Patty) of Glasgow, David Allen (Pat) of Smith Grove and Billy Allen (Enita) of Park City; 2 daughters, Shirley Reed (Danny) of Park City and Sue Gentry (Roger) of Glasgow; 14 grandchildren, Kevin Allen (Fianc
