Gary Michael Emmitt 54 of Glasgow died Wednesday Febrauary 21, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow, Ky he was the son of the late Chester Guy Emmitt, Sr. and Verda Kate Thomas Emmitt. Mr. Emmitt was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include a daughter April Estes of Glasgow, 2 sons Michael Emmitt of Louisville and Gary Emmitt of Clairmont, Ky, 3 brothers Chester Emmitt, Jr. (Joyce) of Cave City, Jackie Daryl Emmitt of Glasgow and Jerry Douglas
