Gene England

Gene Thomas England 76 of the Etoile community of Barren County, died Sunday November 30, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Raymond and Montra Nabors England. Mr. England was a farmer, a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member and a Deacon at the Caney Fork Baptist Church at Etoile. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jean Mansfield England a special friend Dickie Houchens of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. A son, Timothy Lynn England and two sisters Fannie Buckley and Bobbie Evans preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 3, 2003 at the Caney Fork Baptist Church at Etoile with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pm Tuesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
