Geneva Perkins 75 of Glasgow died Tuesday night Sept. 4, 2007 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Ernest Ray and Lecta Robinson Perkins. Geneva was a retired Speech and Language Pathologist and was a former employee of the Barren County, Glasgow and Hart County School systems. She was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church where she was an active teacher of the Joy Sunday School Class. She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Hensley of Horse Cave and Karen Bailey (James) of Glasgow; two brothers Larry Perkins (Debbie) of Leitchfield and Sammy Perkins (Joellen) of Temple Hill; Aunts and Uncles Nell Starr of Glasgow, Verna Starr of Temple Hill, Lora Perkins, Sam Robinson and Ruth Borders all of Illinois and nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday Sept. 7, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Thursday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the T. J. Samson Hospice Program, 1301 N. Race St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
